Mother’s Day Cards!

I couldn’t resist creating some Mother’s Day cards this week. The Lemon Yellow Polka Dot Heart makes me think of my mom!

Do you have any special Mother’s Day traditions?

I am not going to be able to pull off breakfast in bed this year but I remember many years of my mom (probably having already gotten up and showered) sliding back into bed and acting surprised as all four of us kids snuck loudly up the stairs trying not to drop the orange juice and coffee on the carpet (not a good mothers day gift, we learned).

Mary enjoyed her traditional apple fritters, cards and gifts— but I know it was the thoughtful effort that mattered most. My mom has always been my #1 fan and I am so thankful for all the love she has given me. She’s beautiful inside and out. Plus, lets face it, any parent who put up with me in middle school deserves commendation.

Hope you’re planning on sending some love to your mom in a few weeks…Here’s a few options:

Easter Fun (at hello truelove paper goods)!

I am so very excited about Easter— one of my favorite holidays!

I hope you like the just-out hello truelove cards dedicated to this holiday of new life that is aptly celebrated in spring!

Besides the fascinating history of Easter Eggs I cannot help but think of pretty pastels around this time of year! I went a little crazy and made one for every color of the (pastel) rainbow.

{Easter Card Set - Lace Eggs}

As usual, if you can’t choose just one there’s always the Easter Card Sets.

Etsy: Featured in a Treasury!

Cool! hello truelove paper goods has been featured in two Etsy Treasuries!

Can you spot the Valentine Set? Check out the adorable {well, what else could it be?} treasury!

It’s no coincidence one particular card landed here in the Frolicking in Fields of Lace treasury:)

Sometimes Etsy can be overwhelming, but treasuries are a great way to collect and showcase all the beautiful goods you’ve found!

Etsy: Hello Truelove Paper Goods!

I am so excited to announce that hello truelove paper goods is up and running!

It only seemed appropriate that I launch with Valentine’s Day just around the corner so I have been working hard to get everything ready in plenty of time.

Thank you so much to everyone who has encouraged me throughout this process (especially J, who saw more shades of red and hearts this past weekend than he ever has in his life;).

When I have browsed Etsy in the past it seemed there was space for simple, pretty designs…

Cute cards…

Fun patterns…

And bold, sharp colors that send a message of love loud and clear:)

Packs of 4 are available if you just can’t choose!

I have never celebrated Valentine’s Day as an exclusively romantic holiday. Growing up, my parents were so great about making it a special day that our family celebrated too. I’m all about spreading the love in general. Down with the exclusive “only for lovers” shenanigans— I think of Valentine’s Day as a great opportunity to remember anyone you love and appreciate.

These little guys might do the trick if you’re in the market for some Mini Valentines!

As you may know already, I love cards, stationary, & pretty much anything paper goods related so this has been a lot of fun and a bit of a dream come true for me:)

Please head on over to the etsy shop to see if there’s anything for you!
